Your first visit starts with a conversation and a thorough exam. We use digital posture analysis and, if needed, digital X-rays to see what’s going on. Then we explain what we found in plain language and recommend a care plan built for you. Your first treatment is included, so you can get started right away.
Dr. Blake Derrick has been a chiropractor for more than 25 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of South Carolina in 1996, then graduated from Life University as a Doctor of Chiropractic, certified in Physiological Therapeutics, in 2000.
His specialties are chiropractic care, physiological therapeutics and lifestyle management. In 2019, he was named a Legacy Doctor by the 8 Weeks to Wellness organization.
Dr. Derrick is a husband and a father of two. He works alongside his wife, Katie, a registered dietitian, to help Calhoun families live healthier lives. His goal is to help his community live a life of many blessings rather than burdens when it comes to their health.

I cannot say ENOUGH kind words about the staff @ The Spine and Wellness Center! I came to them about 4 months ago and feeling like what's the use "I'm always going to feel bad and there's nothing I can do about it!" My husband who was already seeing Dr Derrick encouraged me to take that first step and just meet Dr Derrick and see what would happen. I decided to at least go talk to Dr Derrick and Katie and see if I could get some encouragement that would spark some motivation. Sometimes we know what to do but not sure how to take those first steps in the right direction, and need a little gentle push.
